Honhaar Scholarship Program
Honhaar Scholarship Program is a major initiative launched under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The program aims to provide financial assistance to deserving and talented students so that they can focus on their education and financial constraints do not become a hindrance in their path. The Chief Minister said, “Every student is like my daughter or son and the responsibility of their education lies with the government.” Students from Punjab as well as other provinces are also benefiting from this program.
The Punjab government has expanded the Honhaar Scholarship Program across the country to provide equal educational opportunities to all Pakistani students. To join this program, students must get admission to an educational institution on the basis of merit and must be eligible for the laptop scheme with 65 percent marks. In addition, all educational expenses are paid under the program and 110,000 laptops will be distributed to meet the educational needs of students.
Under this program, the government aims to provide transparency and opportunities in education so that no talented student gives up on their dreams due to financial constraints. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said in her message that every student will be provided with complete resources for their education so that they can make their future bright.
